EuroGEO 2023 Bolzano

EuroGEO combines the contributions of European members of the Group on Earth Observations (GEO), a partnership of more than 100 national governments, over 100 participating organisations and the European Commission. GEO envisions a future where decisions and measures for the benefit of humankind are informed by coordinated, comprehensive and sustained Earth observations.

The annual workshop brings together European players interested in and actively contributing to EuroGEO. This year's workshop is organised by the European Commission, Eurac Research and the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), and will take place October 2 to 4, 2023.

Topics will include EO data for agriculture, land use land chance, biodiversity, land and marine ecosystems, and climate; as well as digital twins and in-situ data.

The EuroGEO workshop is organised back-to-back with the Open-Earth Monitor Global Workshop 2023 4 to 6 October, 2023, organized by OpenGeoHub Foundation and Eurac Research that will connect European and global actors in the field of open-source Earth Observation applications in policy, business, research, and for society. Connect the two events and come for the whole week to Bolzano!
