DESCRIPTION:Soil enzymatic activity is a term everyone hears but few actual
 ly measure. Yet\, it is a key indicator of soil health and functionality
 —and one of the few biological indicators you can measure with minimal e
 ffort.\nIn this workshop\, we will cover the essentials: what enzymes are\
 , why you should measure their activity\, and how it’s done. We are even
  bringing devices so we can run measurements right there in the room and s
 how you exactly what to do with the data. We will explore the relationship
  between enzymatic activity and biodiversity\, how it links to nutrient fl
 uxes and pollution\, how it changes over time\, and the common challenges 
 of interpretation. \n\n"Interpretation can be as nasty as making sense out
  of your tax declaration\, challenging as keeping your Monstera alive or f
 inding the right star constellation on the sky among the many points. " \n
 Jasmin Fetzer\, PhD\n\nFurthermore\, we will demonstrate how to deploy fie
 ld measurements effectively and translate that data into direct\, actionab
 le steps for your farming system.\nWhat we won’t do is show you complex 
 graphs with massive error bars. This will be a hands-on\, application-orie
 nted session suitable for any level of soil biology knowledge. You can eve
