Farmers are at the forefront of this challenge, and their voices are crucial to driving systemic change. This keynote will highlight the work of BENCHMARKS and especially of Climate Farmers, a pioneering initiative focused on transitioning Europe’s agri-food system toward regenerative agriculture to restore soil health, enhance biodiversity, and secure farmers’ livelihoods.

Building on real-world projects and collaborations, including our partnership with the European Alliance for Regenerative Agriculture (EARA), this talk will explore the critical role of policy, research, and innovation in driving the transformation of the agri-food system.
